With a masters and Ph.D. from Cornell University, John C. Anderson is a former professor of management at UCLA, Queen’s University (Canada), Columbia University and the University of Colorado, Boulder (where he taught Entrepreneurial Marketing in the last term of the MBA program). Beyond academic experience, John was founder and CEO of a promotion agency and an LA-based advertising agency that worked extensively in the consumer electronics, entertainment and luxury industry. In 2010, Anderson became the SVP, Digital of Robb Report magazine to build it into a true multi-media brand. After the company’s sale to Dan Gilbert of Quicken Loans, he moved to RMS Media Group in Andover, Massachusetts with the same objective. In this role, he became extensively involved in the evaluation and marketing of MedSpas in the Boston area and became a consultant to several of the top plastic surgeons in the area including Anna Petropoulos and Jeffrey Spiegel. It was here that he met Amy and Brendan Aarons in his role in helping to build the marketing and operational plans for Novo Sano. He is even a trained CoolSculpting technician!
John brings his in depth experience with digital and event marketing in the aesthetics industry to Plasma Concepts. His role is to not only support building the brand but to put in place marketing and social media programs that will generate customer acquisition for the aesthetic practices that acquire devices that the company sells and supports.
